First, I would like
you to take this quiz, which will ask you about your thoughts on certain
topics, and then tell you which candidate most closely matches your own
viewpoints. It also allows you to tell
it how important an issue is to you. You can access the quiz here: https://www.isidewith.com/
My question to you
this week is, “Which candidate’s viewpoints did the quiz match you up
with? Did that surprise you, or were you
already planning to vote for that person?”
Answers are due no later than Wednesday, May 4th, 2016.
P.S. If you or someone you know needs to register vote, you can register here:
According to the quiz, I side 92% with Bernie Sanders, which I agree with. I was already kind of planning on voting for him anyway, so my results didn't surprise me. What did surprise me, however, was the second person it said I sided with which was Jill Stein... I'm not even sure who that is or what exactly she stands for so I may have to do a bit more research on her.
ReplyDeleteP.S - I just registered to vote yesterday! ^_^

80% of the candidate I was signed with was John McAfee on domestic policy, foreign policy, social, environmental, healthcare and science issues. It surprised me because to be honest I did not know who he was. I have watched some of the election shows but I haven't heard much about John McAfee.
ReplyDeleteThe quiz showed I sided 88% with Bernie Sanders and 86% with Jill Stein. I was not surprised by Bernie Sanders being the top candidate because I planned on voting for him anyways. I am not surprised I sided with a green party candidate because environment issues are important too me. I was surprised that I sided over 50% with Donald Trump. Most of the topics we sided on were the ones I was either uncertain or on the fence about.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the quiz, I sided 91% with Hillary Clinton on environmental, social, economic, criminal, domestic policy, and science issues. This does not surprise me because I am definitely open minded when it comes to social groups, rights, and environmental issues. I am all for equality and climate change is a major global issue that needs to be recognized and acknowledged. After you have provided the link, I am now registered to vote this fall!

According to the quiz, i sided 87% with Bernie Sanders :). I was not surprised with the results, and he was the candidate I was planning on voting for.
ReplyDeleteI was paired up with Gary Johnson 79% when it comes to healthcare, social, immigration, environmental and science issues. I have no idea on who I am going to vote for, I do not care for any of the candidates but i was surprised that Hilary Clinton was somebody who i was relate able with.
ReplyDelete98% Bernie Sanders. I am registered and was already planning on voting for him. Environmental, economic, immigration, social, science, etc.
ReplyDeleteI sided with Bernie Sanders 92%. I'm not surprised since I do agree with a lot that he stands for. However, there were some questions I wasn't really sure what they meant even after reading the information below so I was surprised by some of the other choices that came after Bernie and wondering if the answers I was unsure of had anything to do with that. Bernie is who I plan to vote for as well!
ReplyDeleteI sided with Bernie Sanders 89% apparently. I was planning on voting for him, also I was surprised when Jill Stein's name popped up, I agreed with her 86%, making it pretty close between them both. Overall however I still very much view myself as independent, as well as thinking we need more than just 2 political parties. Honestly, the 2 party system seems exceedingly flawed to me, and we should either get rid of the system, or overhaul it and add more parties to the mix.
ReplyDeleteI sided with Bernie Sanders 79%. I don't vote. I just never cared to.
ReplyDeleteI sided with Hillary Clinton 88%. I wasn't necessarily surprised, as I figured I would end up leaning towards the Democratic candidates regarding several issues, but I did think that I would side more with Bernie Sanders, though he did come in second at 86%. I have not yet decided whether or not I am going to vote.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the quiz, I side with Bernie Sanders and the quiz is very much right. I wasn't surprised when the answer came up. I voted for him in the primary last night (which Bernie won). The importance to voting is to get your voice heard. Every vote counts.
ReplyDeleteDue to my limited knowledge on political issues, I was only able to pull 91% from Bernie. I honestly feel that because I already kind of saw through the eyes of Bernie, being in this class so far helped me realize where I stand as an individual. And while taking the test I was able to put some of my views in to words; although some I had no idea what was being said haha. I'm in the process of trying to get registered, if I was registered, I would have voted for him in the primaries. But I honestly wish I knew more; I probably could have pulled like a 98% with Bernie or something along those lines.

According to this quiz, I have a 87% siding with Hillary Clinton; however, I also have an 84% siding with Bernie Sanders. It makes sense, since currently a large portion of issues are ones I can easily relate to them with. I don't feel I'll be voting for Hillary (since I do not trust her and her record), but it is not unthinkable.
ReplyDeleteI side 97% with Bernie Sanders and I am not surprised at all. I am however surprised that I side with Hilary Clinton 94% because I never really agree with what she's saying.
ReplyDeleteI had a high score for Bernie Sanders, I was not surprise for having a high score for him. I recently voted for him. I am glad that the test resulted to be him. This is my first time voting. I am extremely excited since this is my first time voting since now I am interested on politics
ReplyDeleteThe results of the quiz was that i sided with Bernie 88% and Hilary 84%, It definitely did not surprise me i agree with a lot that Bernie has to say and I'm on his side in this political frenzy we have going on right now. I am a Bernie supporter.
ReplyDeleteIt says that I side 91% with Bernie Sanders. I guess Im cool with that. My primary focus is for kids education and the LGBT community has equal rights like everyone else. Honestly. I dont trust any of the candidates to do what they promise. Many presidents have lied in the past and i dont believe they will make good on their promises. I was planning on voting Trump because he is pro LGBT rights, but I just don't know. I've got enough to worry about as it is. Also sorry if this is a bit late, the random panic attack sickness isn't over.
ReplyDeleteThe results were 88% with Bernie Sanders. I was planning to vote for him to begin with.
ReplyDeleteI received an 82% for John Kasich and 81% for Trump and 75% for Hillary. I wasn't to shocked on this as I have a very wide view of the world.
ReplyDeleteI scored a 96% for Bernie Sanders and a 95% with Hillary Clinton. I am not surprised with either of the scores, even though I do side with Bernie on most subjects.
ReplyDeleteI scored 86% with Bernie Sanders. I do not mind having Bernie Sanders but I honestly had no idea where I would fall. I do feel like I need to look further in with these people to know them better. Because I would like to know exactly what they have in mind and if I agree on it or not. I just really want to have my own mind instead of what someone says I agree with.
ReplyDeleteI scored 96% with Bernie Sanders, which doesn't surprise me at all since that's who I was planning on voting for. Feel the Bern
ReplyDeleteI scored 96% with Bernie Sanders. Unsurprisingly. 92% with Hillary, then 92% with Jill Stein. I'm absolutely in agreement with the results. I actually can fathom voting for Hillary if Bernie doesn't win the nomination, but I very much like Bernie.
