Your Thoughts And Feedback Are Appreciated

Another quarter has almost passed. I had fun with you in class this quarter! It’s been a pleasure getting to know all of you this quarter and I hope that you stay in touch, and continue to post on the blog whenever you want.

With that being said, my final question to you is, “What did you like or dislike about the class?  What could I do to make the class better?”  Answers are due no later than Wednesday, September 24th, 2014  After that, the blog will be down until class resumes next quarter.

  1. What I've liked about the class is that you're a really relatable and laid back teacher, you don't make the classes feel professional. I would say bringing in guest speakers could make the class more fun, just being able to hear other peoples viewpoints on subjects would be cool.

  2. What I liked about the class is that you had passion for what you taught and showed enthusiasm even though it was topics i didnt care for but you caught my attention to listen. To make the class better, we could take a trip downtown sit at the circle and have class or something along that line.

  3. What I liked about the class was the way it was taught, it was easy to remember the information because you made it interesting. It wasn't like listening to a boring, monotone teacher read the slides word for word to us. It was almost like a conversation and it was always interesting to hear what you had to say. I honestly don't think I've ever laughed so much in a class in my life. I looked forward to coming to this class more than any class. I didn't dislike anything about it.

  5. This was my favorite class this quarter. I liked to blog and the power points. You're my favorite teacher and I wish you could teach more classes. The one thing that I will carry from this class for the rest of my life is, If I don't know the answer to something i'll just say Hillary Clinton and hope for the best!

  6. What I like about this class is that every week and every lecture, when given she's like to mention what exactly is going to be on the quiz next and what we need to know to be prepare for the guis on that day. The power points/lectures were easy to follow through and understand. And also it shows that you're very passionate about this class. I don't think if there should be improvements or to make this class better because I really like this class and your the best.

  7. I really enjoyed this class because current events and politics is a subject I enjoy discussing. The problem is that there is not many people who like to discuss current events or are not educated enough to hold a decent conversation. This class was great because it offered me that release. I think that a nice improvement for the class would be to discuss the blog during class and offer up a debate for each person’s response.

  8. I enjoyed this class. Coming in I honestly thought I wasn't going to like the class because I wasn't that into political issues. Now I'm glad I did because you made the class enjoyable and you're so relatable unlike many classes. What I would say to change would be take a fieldtrip or have a guest speaker. Other than that, in my opinion nothing needs to change.

  10. I liked the blog a lot. It was a great place for us all to voice our opinions. I really enjoyed the class itself, too. It made me actually learn and care about many of the different issues that are going on in the world that I hadn't really given much thought before.

  11. I like the blog. I have never participated in one but I think I might like to try to put one on my website. I don't think you really need to change what you are doing as much as just keep trying to stay up with what is going on although I don't think that will be very hard for you:) Thank you for keeping an open mind to other thoughts and opinions and not be judgmental of others. I truly appreciate it. Take care.
