Your Thoughts and Feedback Are Appreciated!

Another quarter has almost passed.  When we started out together, it still felt like summer.  Now there is no doubt - winter is here! It’s been a pleasure getting to know all of you this quarter and I hope that you stay in touch, and continue to post on the blog whenever you want.

With that being said, my final question to you is, “What did you like or dislike about the class?  What could I do to make the class better?”  Answers are due no later than Wednesday, December 11th, 2013.  After that, the blog will be down until class resumes next quarter.

I hope all of your have a peaceful and blessed holiday season full of good food, good friends and family and good rest!

  1. I found the class to be rather interesting. Sure, much of what we covered in class was fairly simplistic and straightforward, but it sometimes helps just to cut to the heart of the matter and not waste time talking about unnecessary things. I enjoyed the fact that the class had a friendly and fun atmosphere, which made it easier to be in the class and to soak up the information from the lectures since it wasn't dull but lively. If there was anything that I feel would have made the class better it would be to include some sort of involved activities. Not so much class projects but more along the line of activities. Aside from that I personally feel that it was a wonderful class.

  2. I never really follow politics but when I do I get into it. I liked that you made learning politics interesting...that's hard to do. I feel a little embarrassed that I neglected to be knowledgeable about things that actually affect me. I like that you challenged us to not to continue allow ourselves to feel as if we don't count or it doesn't affect us in anyway because it do. You are hilarious and that definitely was a plus!

  3. I love how you kept the class interesting and fun. Politics has never been my "thing" but it you made it easier to understand. Even though the quizzes weren't my favorite, I wouldn't change a thing about how you taught the class. I enjoyed having you as an instructor.

  4. Hey Everyone! I lovvvvvveeeddd this class, I love all of your classes to be honest! I am not into politics at all, but attending this class helped me realize how important it is and how much of en effect it has on us. The fact that you made the class fun and not like your average history class kept my attention. Most history classes are straight lectures, reading word from word. I am glad that I took this class and that you were the instructor. I have no complaints at all. ENJOY YOUR BREAK! I KNOW I WILL ! :)

  5. What I liked about this class was learning all about government and all the things that I've learned in school that was just being force feed to me. Of course the teachings was great as well. The class helped me understand more of what I have learned before in school. I have become more interested in politics and government since taking this class.

  6. I loved this class a lot of good lessons everyone spoke freely. I liked when we paired in groups as countries. This class has definitely made me appreciate keeping up to date and knowing what has or is currently going on in politics after all it is our history. I really loved how you taught this class you made it very fun.

  7. This class was a little different from any other course that I have taken here at Ai. Everyone was fairly open and had their own point of view. The class has also made me realize how ignorant I have become in society by not keeping up with the news. I've learned that ignorance is not always bliss if you want to be a contributor to society. If I would make any suggestions to the class, I would build on the activity when we paired up with another person to make decisions for our country. I think you could build off that activity and have it play a role in each class discussion by making us pair up again and choose how we would vote or take care of certain issues.
