Well another quarter has come and gone! I have enjoyed getting to know
all of you and hearing your opinions in class! I wish all of you blessings and success in the future, and hope
that you stay in touch.
So for our last blog post, I would like
to get your thoughts and feedback on the class. "What did you like or
dislike about the class? What could I do to make it better?" Answers
are due no later than Wednesday, June , 15th 2016. After that, the blog
will be down until class resumes next quarter.
I really enjoyed this class. One thing that I liked was doing the blog posts each week. I thought it was awesome being given a different topic of discussion with current issues happening within our country and getting to hear other classmates' opinions. I think that if there was anything that you could do to make the class better, it would be to continue expressing your opinions about political issues with the class. I really enjoyed being educated about what is going on with current times.
ReplyDeleteAs for your event with the children, one idea that I will propose is to have a coloring book, painting, or a crafts workshop. Let them be creative! After all, we are in art school.
I really enjoyed this class. I came in expecting this class to be dry and boring, to my surprise I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed reading and participating in this class and also in this blog. I find myself, being more interested when it comes to current events. This class has taught me to be more aware of what is going on in my surroundings when it comes to the government.

i loved this class, it was the only class this quarter that i did not dread going too, i actually learned so much andd you made it not boring to attend. I never thought that historical and political issues could be so interesting, thank you for a fun class :) i wish you taught more classes

This class was more than amazing. Absolutely loved the discussions and opinions across the class room. I learned things about others and even myself. You have an exciting attitude that makes anyone want to be involved in whatever is going on. Which is an awesome trait to have as a teacher and I enjoyed that about you. I've learned so much in this class that I have never heard before and I know I will be more aware of the world around me in the future.
ReplyDeleteThe class was very informative. It kept people involved and thats important. I am just easily disheartened and overwhelmed by the amount of issues our government has and how the masses are influenced by media to either be bigoted or ambivalent to matters at hand.
ReplyDeleteI really loved the class, i found alot of what i heard really informative and couldnt believe some of the topics i wasnt even aware of. as far as the class is concerned i had the most issues i feel with the weekly tests and my ability to retain information after a week of other classes and life, even after studying. id prefer to take a test at the end of the class period instead, but it is what it is and i still had fun

I really enjoyed the class, and I feel like I learned a lot from it. It has definitely helped me to have a better understanding of what is going on in the world. You are very engaging, and that always helps in making a class more enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteI obviously loved this class. It was so refreshing to have an open dialogue and a place where opinions were respected and listened to. I'm very passionate and very appreciative to have a teacher that is even more so. Thank you for putting up with me. And I really feel like people in the class found passion for the topics we discussed. You have inspired us, especially me. Please, keep doing this. I am probably going to remember this class in particular for a very long time. Thank you so much for being an incredible teacher.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really liked about this class is the truth about our political system. I really enjoyed how you explained everything as much as possible in every topic in a short period of time. This class was an eye opening. I wish our class could have been a little bit longer than 11 weeks. To be honest, there was nothing about the class that I disliked, other than a limited of time to explain every topic in depth. I believe you are going a great job lecturing and teaching the class. The lectures were very well organized. Thank You for the learning experience.
ReplyDeleteI actually really enjoyed this class. It opened my eyes to things and made me think a lot more about what's going on in our country. The way you taught the class with your sense of humor and passion on the topics made this a wonderful learning experience. I don't feel anything should have been done differently. It was a fun and easy class that was always interesting. Thanks for being so awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the class and thought it was very entertaining at times. I loved how caring and excited you would get about the topics being discussed in class. As for the change maybe try to get the class to interact a little more together, other than that it was great!

I enjoyed taking this class this quarter especially now with so much going on that we were able to discuss (on and off breaks). I liked the project and the fact there were controversial topics was great. I do think the Al Gore movie is a tad dated. I wonder if there is more recent video to show?
ReplyDeletei really enjoyed this classed. i learned somethings i was refreshed on others and the discussions and topics that you hit on was very informative. My favorite part of this had to be the blogs just to give us a forum to voice our opinions and to open up discussion on topics that normal people stray away from was great and i loved it.I say just keep being you, you are a great teacher.
ReplyDeleteIn the end the class really grew on me. Everyone in the class, even though I didn't really speak to everyone, had great vibes and seemed really cool. I also feel that I gained a better knowledge of things going on in the world (even though I dang need flunked every test I took) and am able to give more of a thought out opinion, being able to oproch from both sides and looking at all the facts. Overall I give this class a thumbs up. Oh and I can say that I completely loathed the fact of blogging for the simple fact that,

I have really enjoyed the class. At first I was a bit skeptical because I didn't know a lot on the topic but I feel more comfortable talking about politics now. You are an amazing teacher and I loved that you encourage us to voice our opinions.
